1. What is a sailing charter cruise? Booking a sailing charter cruise is a unique and personalized experience where you and your group reserve a sailing yacht or catamaran, including its professional crew, to explore various destinations for your group, privately. You have the flexibility to design your itinerary and enjoy your personal and exclusive sailing adventure.
2. How do I book a sailing charter cruise? Contact us directly through our website or by phone to inquire about availability and discuss your preferences. We'll assist you in selecting the right itinerary and menus that suits your group's needs.
3. Where do the sailing charter cruises depart from? We sail along the North Coast of Jamaica. We are situated in Oracabessa, St. Mary but alternative nearby docks for pickup can be arranged, dependant on location. A shuttle bus may also be arranged to bring your group to the dock.
4. Can I customize the itinerary? Absolutely! Our cruises are all about personalization. You can customize the itinerary and choose activities that align with your interests, whether it's snorkelling, fishing, cruising or all the above, let us know and we can work out an itinerary just for you!
5. What is included in the charter fee? The charter fee covers the rental of the yacht, the professional crew, standard equipment, and fuel for the duration of the cruise. Additional costs may include food and beverages, optional water sports activities.
6. What types of boat is On Y Va? On Y Va is a 45' Privilege catamaran, made by French premium catamaran builders, known for their "intelligent design and outstanding craftsmanship." A catamaran has two hulls, giving you a much smoother and comfortable ride with plenty of room for relaxing on board.
7. Can I bring my own food and drinks onboard? While we offer catering services for your convenience, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks additionally, on board. Or let us know your preferences, and we will try to our best to accommodate your requests.
8. Is sailing experience required to charter a cruise? No prior sailing experience is required. Our professional crew will handle all the sailing and navigation, allowing you to relax and enjoy the journey.

9. What should I pack for the sailing charter cruise? Wear light and comfortable clothing suitable for warm weather. Water shoes and rash guards are great. Don't forget sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and swimwear and a towel.
10. How many people can the boat accommodate? The capacity of the yacht is 15 guests. Plus 5 crew members.
